
Bill Fish, SOMN President and CEO, Erik Anderson, SOMN athlete, and Matt O’Hara, State Director of Minnesota’s LETR Executive Council, announced Minnesota as the host of the 2025 LETR International Conference at the 2024 International LETR Conference in San Antonio, Texas.
Minneapolis, MN – January 27, 2025 – Special Olympics Minnesota (SOMN) is proud to announce that it will host the 2025 International Law Enforcement Torch Run® (LETR) Conference, bringing together over 1,200 law enforcement officials from across the United States and around the world. This prestigious event will take place October 16–18, 2025, at the Hilton Minneapolis.
The Law Enforcement Torch Run® engages law enforcement globally to champion acceptance and inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID), starting at the grassroots level in their local communities. Each year, leaders from around the world gather to celebrate the achievements of LETR, align on the organization’s vision and priorities, and exchange best practices to advance inclusion.

Attendees will experience Minnesota’s renowned northern hospitality while learning about the innovative programs and initiatives being implemented to advance inclusion and support athletes with intellectual disabilities. The conference will include keynote speakers, panel discussions, training sessions and networking opportunities to inspire and empower attendees to continue making a difference in their communities.
