Twins alumnus Tony Oliva
The Minnesota Twins and UnitedHealthcare are teaming up to create the ultimate game experience for 2 Special Olympics Minnesota softball teams. The Special Olympics Minnesota Sportsmanship Showdown will feature teams who demonstrate outstanding sportsmanship during the 2024 regional softball season.
Twins Hall of Famer and team legend Tony Oliva will be on hand to throw out the ceremonial first pitch, while the game will feature a videoboard complete with graphics, highlights and replays; introductions by Twins public address announcer Adam Abrams and music from organist Sue Nelson; a special appearance by Twins mascot T.C.; and custom Twins jerseys for all participants.
