Your voice matters! An Athlete Leadership Council is a group of athletes who meet using a well-thought-out agenda to discuss Special Olympics Minnesota topics important to them and make recommendations to leadership. In this course, you will learn how to set up an Athlete Leadership Council, including step-by-step instructions on best practices in conducting and participating in meetings. As a result of this course, you will become a better communicator and leader within the Special Olympics movement and become a contributing part of an athlete-driven organization.
