Special Olympics Minnesota wants to make health and wellness more accessible to athletes, partners and coaches. Fit 5 is a program that’s easy to integrate in to your existing busy schedule or your team’s practice schedule. It’s a fitness plan that can improve your health and help you become the best athlete you can be.

Fit 5 includes:

  • A plan for physical activity, nutrition and hydration
  • Weekly (5 days of physical activity) and daily (5 fruits and vegetables, 5 bottles of water) recommendations
  • Fitness cards featuring exercises focusing on endurance, flexibility and strength that can be done at practices, home and the gym
  • An athlete handbook to help you follow the program and track progress
