Special Olympics Minnesota’s mission extends far beyond hugs and high-fives. Through year-round sports training, competitions and innovative programs such as Global Messengers, the Athlete Leadership Program and our popular Healthy Athletes initiative, athletes learn important life skills and experience the type of success that carries over to home, work and school.
There are more than 20,000 athletes, coaches and volunteers who comprise the Special Olympics Minnesota family, and by making a donation today, you are supporting unique programming and helping to inspire greatness in thousands of lives.
All gifts are tax deductible and can be made in one installment or over time. Please note that Special Olympics Minnesota does not receive any direct government or designated United Way funding.
Create Your Own Event for Special Olympics Minnesota
Take your commitment to Special Olympics Minnesota a step further: Turn your next event into a fundraiser! Whether it's $5 from a front-yard lemonade stand, $100 from a backyard barbecue, or $3,000 from a community golf tournament, the money you raise from your event will support Special Olympics Minnesota and help our athletes to improve their physical, social and mental skills.
You can build your own fundraising Web page at either of two different websites, and 100% of the money raised will go directly to Special Olympics Minnesota.
- On FirstGiving.com, click on the orange "Get Started" button in the middle of the page.
- On Razoo.com, click on the red "Fundraise" button in the left column.
