Bowling Centers

In October, we will notify delegations which date they will bowl on.

Please view the State Bowling delegation assignments (PDF) to see where your delegation is bowling.  Please note that delegations were assigned to bowling centers based on the bowling center availability, number of lanes at the center and the quota each delegation submitted.

If your delegation isn’t on the list, please email info@somn.org.

Delegations have already sent a quota in for a weekday or weekend option.  We won’t know the exact date or shift times that teams bowl until registration closes in mid-October.  For other questions related to your delegations schedule, please check with your Head of Delegation or Head Coach.

Bowling registrations will be due October 8.  All athlete, Unified partner and coach paperwork should be completed before registration opens.  More registration information will be sent out in September.

Athletes can register for both Singles AND Unified Doubles.

$5/person (athlete, Unified partner, coach).  The game fee includes bowling, lunch and awards.  For delegations that are interested in scholarships to cover bowling costs, please contact your Area’s Program Manager and fill out the LETR scholarship application (PDF).

Bowling Updates

Switching Lanes
In an effort to improve athletes’ and volunteers’ experience and minimize lane issues during competition, we will not be bowling “league style” at 2017 State Bowling.

Divisions are based on qualifying scores submitted on registrations. Therefore, a handicap is not needed for competition.

There is only one ramp option. Ramp Assisted and Ramp Unassisted events have been combined into Ramp. Athletes who register for Ramp Bowling and need an assistant may have an assistant with them at the lane. When registering, please note if an assistant is needed.
