JOIN US FOR A VIRTUAL EVENT TO SUPPORT SPECIAL OLYMPICS MINNESOTA

During the outbreak of COVID-19, many of us are feeling isolated and lonely as we take measures to stay home and stay healthy.

Unfortunately, these feelings are all too familiar to our athletes. Throughout history, our athletes have battled the obstacles of isolation, discrimination and exclusion. Now, people with intellectual disabilities are one of the populations that is most vulnerable to COVID-19 and are facing even more isolation than usual.

Improving the health and lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities has long been the mission of Special Olympics Minnesota. Today, that mission is more important than ever.

You are invited to join us for Champions Together, a virtual event where we will celebrate how far we’ve come and discuss our organization’s critical needs during this difficult time.

EVENT OVERVIEW

Since we can’t gather in person for the annual Champions Luncheon at Summer Games, we are hosting the event virtually so you and the whole family can join us from the comfort of your home!

Get comfy on your couch and make it a special night with your family! After you register, you will receive email communications with additional information and tips on how to best enjoy the event, along with a link and directions on how to view the program online.
