Molly Neihart
Three years ago, I met a young woman named Anne Marie. In many ways, she was one of the most amazing people I'd ever met and we became instant friends. Over the years, Annie had donated and raised money for many different charities, including the Special Olympics by jumping into a frozen lake also known as the Polar Plunge. Each year, Annie asked me to join her in this event and each time my response was "absolutely not, you're crazy". Unfortunately, Annie passed away here at Regions Hospital on August 8, 2009 from a brain aneurysm. I have decided to carry on Annie's tradition by jumping into that frozen lake in her honor. Please consider donating to this wonderful cause.
